Netraa AI
NETRAA is the world’s first revolutionary AI-powered road monitoring system that transforms everyday smartphones into intelligent, dashboard-mounted hazard detection devices.
Using advanced on-device computer vision, NETRAA continuously analyzes dynamic road environments in real time. It goes beyond basic reporting to identify any and all issues on the road as they happen. By detecting a comprehensive array of infrastructure hazards, starting with potholes, stray cattle, garbage, broken manhole covers, and bad patch work. NETRAA enables faster emergency responses, drastically improved road safety, and truly data-driven urban maintenance.
01. The Challenge
Driving on Indian roads presents a highly unpredictable environment that standard, globally trained Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) simply cannot handle. The primary issues are dynamic, unmapped hazards specifically, stray cattle suddenly crossing high-speed corridors and severely degraded road surfaces, like unexpected potholes. Because most existing AI vision models are trained on highly structured, predictable Western roads, they fail to recognize these localized dangers, leading to thousands of preventable accidents and massive vehicle damage annually.
02. The Solution
Netraa AI is a custom computer vision system built specifically to conquer the chaos of Indian infrastructure. At its core, it utilizes a deeply trained Custom Trained Machine Learning Model optimized for high-speed, real-time object detection.
- Targeted Detection: The model is explicitly trained to identify and classify the most critical local hazards: potholes, cows and garbage dumps
- Real-Time Processing: Our custom trained model can directly detect on road dangers in real time on NETRAA providing accurate pin point locations.
03. The Result
A proactive, localized road safety tool that acts as a digital “eye” for the driver.
Immediate Impact: Drivers receive real-time, high-accuracy alerts, drastically reducing their reaction time to avoid sudden braking, swerving, or collisions.
Long-Term Impact: A significant reduction in vehicle damage and fatal highway accidents. Furthermore, it proves that edge-AI and targeted machine learning can successfully adapt to and map the unique, unstructured nature of Indian roadways.
